Russell-Cotes museum is a gem in our town and a place I love to visit either alone, with a friend, or with my grandchildren at any time of the year.
I am fully supportive of a charge to help maintain this wonderful building but not at £5 a head even if for only six months of the year.
Far better to charge £1 admittance for the whole year, enabling residents and visitors alike to see this marvellous asset to our town at an affordable price.
A £5 entrance fee will leave many families financially unable to enjoy this cliff top wonder - how sad.
