AS a resident of Bournemouth all my life I do not go to the golden sands of Bournemouth beach enough, although Saturday July 9 we decided to have a walk through the town and sit on the beach with our 15 month old daughter.
I was disgusted to see in the sand broken glass where my daughter was walking. We cleared it up, moved about 20 yards away and yet again there was more broken glass.
I’m just thankful it didn’t cut my daughter’s feet. So after being on the beach for a whole five minutes we left, and will not return.
Why do people feel the need to break glass on the sand and bury it so anyone can seriously cut themselves if playing in the sand?
