MY mother, who is in her 70s, relied on the number 20 bus. The service kept her independent, and was reliable.
To remove this service has had a detrimental effect on my mother, and others who use this service. What consultation took place with the users of this service?
The main issue of concern for the elderly, especially, is the distance they have to walk to get to the main Wimborne Road, Winton.
The number 20 bus was a godsend to people like my mum who used the service on a frequent basis.
I would ask that the council reconsider their decision.
