I AM writing to thank all the people who supported our first event, the East Stoke Village Hall (Rebuild) Fete on Saturday, September 24 on the parish land next to the Stokeford Inn pub and in helping to start raising funds for our much-needed new village hall.
In total we raised more than £900 and are very grateful for all those people (we estimate more than 120) who helped us make this first event such a success. We hope they will continue to support in our future events.
We are also grateful to the Echo for publishing this event.
