I REQUIRED to get some information about whether I could take something as hand luggage and I was dropped off outside Bournemouth Airport while the driver went off to do some shopping.
When I walked 50 yards, the footpath was stopped and a notice saying “No pedestrians past this point for their own safety”.
This means I could only enter in a vehicle and be charged £2.50.
Whoever was the idiot that authorised charges for customers to go to their “shop” and spend money? Every other airport I have been to has a five-minute “kiss and fly” – free.
I strongly object to being ripped off. For goodness’ sake wake up before all your customers go elsewhere even if it costs more to get there.
