On Monday, October 24, there will be a debate and vote by our MPs as to whether or not we, the voters, should be allowed to have our say on the European Union and British membership of it.

Unless you express your opinion to your MP they will be unaware of constituents’ views on the subject.

You can write or email your MP but one of the simplest methods is to go via the writetothem.com website, where you can even find out who is your MP, if you’re unsure.

The last time we were given a vote on the EU, it was to say whether or not we wanted to be part of a European Trading Association.

The EU has changed drastically since then so do contact your MP to ensure your voice is heard and your opinion is known.
