WITH reference to your letter (Echo, January 23) by C Cooper, of Viking Way, Bournemouth, we would like to echo your question of what has happened to council houses?
We are a company who are able and willing to fund council houses/social housing with tranches of £20million plus.
As yet neither Poole Borough Council nor Bournemouth Borough Council have taken up on our offer.
As a result we have offered our services elsewhere with immediate results.
The local authorities have a duty to provide housing, and they are failing the local people in need.
