MAY I thank through your letters page, Dorset Fire and Rescue Service for putting on a 20-week fire cadet course, which my son has just completed.
This was all done by the fire people volunteering to give up their time to teach 14 youngsters the skills to be fire cadets and each one got a BTEC after passing.
The enthusiasm that they all showed was brilliant and it passed on to the children and parents alike.
So I would just like to say on behalf of Ashley and myself thank-you to all who gave up their time.
