I WAS recently discharged from the Royal Bournemouth hospital after my fifth in-patient stay within a year.
Having read all the horror stories about other hospitals, I want to stress how lucky we are to have Royal Bournemouth Hospital as our local hospital.
I was mainly in wards 16, 17 and 18. Without exception my treatment was excellent. I am 86.
Every single member of staff in all these wards were fully efficient, and, more to the point, extremely kind and helpful.
Nothing was too much trouble, night or day.
I think the staff from the ‘horror hospitals’ should all, in turn, be sent to RBH for training on how to treat patients.
