DURING one our Westbourne coffee mornings we discussed, amongst many other topics, the influx of police visibility within the Westbourne area of the last two months.

Good, I hear you say, but we all pondered on why this is as we hardly have had such ‘visibility’ of previous months.

Is it because of the new council tax bills soon arriving at our doors, we wonder?

Also on our friendly agenda we questioned the continuation of traffic wardens “turning a blind eye” to illegal parking outside a well-loved fish and chip shop by those who should know better.
