THERE have been such bad reports about hospitals recently in the news it makes me realise how fortunate I am to live in this area where there are such very good hospitals.
In January I was taken into Poole hospital and had a major operation.
Thanks to Mr Thomas and the dedication of his special team my life was saved.
A big thanks to all the medical staff and the hard working nurses who treated me like a VIP. Nothing was too much trouble even after a long, tiring night there was always a smile and encouragement from these lovely ladies, bless them.
To add to the icing on the cake, I occupied bed (11) in ward B4 and had a fantastic view of the bay.
