I MUST reply to NJ Brown regarding the state of rubbish on the A338 road and quoting my name from my letter last week printed in the Echo.
Well, councils what are you going to do about it? Nothing, I suspect.
Get your act together and arrange for community service payback people to be out there litter picking and putting something back into society.
Take notice for a change and clean up the place.
Get those litter wardens out there, fining people – that would soon bring in some revenue.
Get tough with litter louts and start fining them.
Do something positive for a change. How can you possibly put a sign up along the route saying ‘Welcome to Bournemouth’ with all that rubbish cluttering up the area.
