I WAS shocked to hear that the Dual Puffin Crossing on Ringwood Road, Ferndown, will be going ahead.
It is too near the Ferndown Fire Station – surely they will have trouble attending an emergency with such a large obstruction in the middle of the road?
I would like to know just how many people are going to use this expensive crossing as it is so close to the road junction at Penny’s Hill.
Why is it not further along Ringwood Road, which would have made it more useful for people Also, the majority of school children do not use Ringwood Road to get to Ferndown School, they walk along Wimborne Road, which is a quicker route for them.
Do the councillors who made this decision know Ferndown or care?
