SO Bournemouth loses out on becoming a city – shame.
What else do we lose out on? Here are a few ideas: The cost of re-branding the town for a start – thousands of road signs, direction signs, office signs, etc.
What about replacing all the town’s stationary and adjusting websites, etc.
It would be a monumental exercise, probably requiring an additional well staffed department and altogether costing the hard pressed local taxpayer millions of pounds.
I am sure I am only scratching the surface of what would have been planned but now the council can again concentrate on the numerous items urgently requiring attention around our town, eg Imax, surf reef and bus station.
Our once lovely town is going nowhere – fast!
