SEEING the picture of the proposed new gates to Kings Park (Daily Echo March 16), I am sure thousands of readers were either laughing their heads off or were horrified.
Were they designed by Tracy Emin or Damien Hirst and how much will they cost us?
Surely a simple design would save us money and look more attractive.
May I also suggest to the local councils that instead of painting white lines around pot holes on the roads and pavements, why not get the drivers of the refuse vehicles to record the names of the roads and house numbers where they are, on a clipboard?
