I HAVE been brought up to be honest. Finding things and not returning them is stealing.
Anything I find, if possible, I will return to the owner. Mobile phones I have returned, many even if they were broken or damaged.
I have returned wallets and purses all with the contents still inside.
Recently a man getting into a van dropped his mobile phone – I stopped him to let him know.
While walking through a car park the other day I heard a tune playing – another mobile phone, a quite expensive mobile phone – also returned to its owner.
When I lost my cheap Motorola unlocked mobile phone this week, it makes me ask in future why should I be so honest?
