AS a Cherries supporter for over 74 years I am disgusted to read that Eddie Mitchell has refused the Daily Echo (March 24) reporting on the club activities.
I’m sorry Eddie but reading about the club is part of the pleasure of being a season ticket holder.
You are lucky, not everyone can get to every match, due to age and health problems.
I am unable to get to evening matches and when I do go on Saturdays I miss a lot with poor eyesight, (all players look alike now), so rely on reading about everything in the Daily Echo, and it wasn’t there on Wednesday.
Lots of things haven’t been there lately obviously due to the Daily Echo being refused interviews with players.
This is just not good enough. I stood up for you with the ‘lady in the dressing room’ a few weeks ago saying you have done so much for the club.
People that put money in should have some say how things are going, but no way should you stop press coverage.
After reading the headlines in the Daily Echo every day, it is straight to the back page and any Cherries heading year after year.
Remember we are your bread and butter. Without us there is no club, but we can and will manage without you if we have to.
Managers and chairmen come and go, but supporters are there forever.
Sorry, but with no press coverage you will not see me in my seat again this year.
