I AM also very unhappy about lights going out in Poole as it might also be happening in my road in Canford Heath.

I am a 52-year-old single woman who lives by myself and don’t like the dark and I never answer my door at night.

I start work at 6am every morning so come the winter I will have to go out to my car in the pitch black.

My dog won’t be walked in the morning if this happens and my house is not on the actual road, so it’s even darker where my front door is, not to mention the alleyways in the close.

My path is on a slope which is dangerous just being wet, let alone ice or snow.

If there are no lights when I leave for work who is to say I will get there, as I could be hurt and not be able to get up as I suffer with back pain.

So you can imagine what I am going through at the moment, unless of course, one of these idiots that made the decision to turn street lights off would like to come round to mine at 5.30am every morning to escort me to my car as we are not all privileged to have a 9 to 5 job.
