Use your indicators and be responsible BEING out on the open road used to be a joy, but the standard of driving these days has become less than acceptable.

It is due largely to those responsible for not using their indicators.

Why these people feel it’s ok not to indicate is beyond me. If they didn’t use their indicators in the driving test, then they would not have passed their test.

I know that you shouldn’t act on the strength of a turn signal, but it would give you a better idea of a person’s intention to manoeuvre into your lane, instead of pulling in without warning, or pulling out in front of you.

It just takes a finger to flip an indicator stalk, and those who are too bone idle to do this, in my opinion, are driving without due care and attention. This problem is spreading like a disease.

I am also amazed at the amount of people who don’t seem to know how to deal with a roundabout, whether negotiating it, or indeed indicating their intentions.

This text is meant for the drivers who probably shouldn’t be driving without taking another test to teach then properly how it should be done.
