WAS this an April 1st joke? – No.
At 10am Sunday morning, I was walking along Poole quay in beautiful sunshine, and it was very enjoyable until I got to near the kiosks and the walk came to an end.
There were six or more alcoholics and another one on his way after purchasing drink, sitting there.
Then six to eight motorcyclists decided to “rev-up” their bikes, deafening everybody, before shooting off.
You could not hear yourself speak.
Visitors were already arriving for boat trips and this carry-on was very off putting and not a very good example of Poole, and this is only the first day of the Easter holidays.
I can see things getting worse, especially if the good weather continues and I would not be impressed at all as a visitor. It’s bad enough being a Poole resident.
