I AM extremely annoyed and believe there may be many others like me.

We were continually kept informed about the Digital switch over locally and assured that there was no need to rush out and buy new TVs, hi-tech aerials or subscribe to cable/satellite.

Perhaps I was naive to believe the authorities but I stuck to using my original set complemented by the freeview box.

Two weeks after the date I still find myself at varying times of the day, attempting to get a good reception on some of the most basic channels.

Re-tuning the box was all that ‘Digit Al’ instructed viewers to do, but it seems we have been hoodwinked and must buy expensive new TV sets after all.
