MY thoughts go to Mr Webb (‘Hounded – Great grandfather’s defiant message to yobs’ Echo April 13).
The result could have been worse. It could have caused him to collapse under the stress.
I have written before in regard to these BB guns.
Why do the government still allow them to exist?
They should be illegal. What use are they?
We should contact our MPs and ask for this to be brought up and have them banned.
Surely parents must know their children have them?
What would the police say if Mr Webb had one and fired back? I guess he would be arrested!
Anyone who knows an owner of one of these weapons should contact the police.
They then should be able to take it off them.
Parents should be held responsible if their youngsters own them and hand them into the police.
As I have said before – I would like to come back and see these people when they are old and vulnerable and see how they are being treated.
You may be 14 or 15 now – but one day you will be in your 70s or 80s and you will then expect to be looked after. Think about it!
What goes around comes around!
