HOW often do you find your pockets full of copper coins?
These coins are from shops who sell goods at 99p, £1.99, £5.99 etc.
We are not fooled by this action and I suggest the Government dispenses with all copper coins as soon as possible.
Not are they only useless but they are very expensive to mint.
The Government could save millions of pounds and we wouldn’t get holes in our pockets. If Brazil, Canada, Australia and New Zealand can manage without copper coins, so can we.
