I RECENTLY had to spend some time in St Ann’s hospital following a complete breakdown.
Whilst I was there I was treated with the utmost dignity and respect, the kindness of the staff was amazing, never too busy to chat or just listen.
So much is said about our NHS but the staff, and this includes the doctors etc, are professional but so caring.
The abuse they get at times, from people who are unwell is awful, but I never heard or saw anything but care and consideration.
We are all so wrapped up in our personal issues we forget to say thank you.
I would like to do this for the staff at St Ann’s, the crisis team and for the teams at the Kings Park unit.
I do hope you print my letter so that anyone who feels afraid to get help will know there are people who care. This care and understanding is seldom found in the world.
