IT amazes me the number of motorists that seem to receive pleasure from driving in puddles past pedestrians.
Not only do they seem to find every puddle near to the kerb, but today I was given a free shower whilst walking under the bridge in Clingan Road. The road was flooded, but this didn’t stop the drivers slowing down as they passed.
The driver in question didn’t even stop to say sorry.
Please drivers, be more aware of pedestrians in wet conditions.
Just think one day you may be the pedestrian and I might be the driver. From one very wet and cold pedestrian.
