IT was good to see a full house at the Bournemouth Pavilion on April 21 for the BSO Diamond Jubilee concert.
However, it could and should have had an added sparkle.
My husband and I were expecting a rousing rendition of “God Save The Queen”, as it was in fact Her Majesty’s 86th birthday.
We felt greatly disappointed that it wasn’t there.
It was made worse by host Petroc Trelawny, when announcing that the BSO benevolent fund concert on May 27 was on his birthday.
We are BSO members, however we will not be supporting this concert at Poole as it has a blanket price of £18 each.
