WHILST browsing on the bookshelf to buy a book for my grand-daughter in one of Poole’s famous charity shops, I commented to a gentleman customer next to me how the prices on Ashley Road, Parkstone’s charity shops were a lot cheaper. Even to the extent of filling a bag of books for £1 in comparison to this same shop in Poole charging £1 for one book! With the choice of books available, and having only £1 to spend, it was hard to decide which one to purchase. With that this very kind gentleman, whom I had never met before, insisted on purchasing several for me.
I was most grateful and didn’t know how to thank him and with that we went our separate ways.
I’d like to thank him and illustrate how good the human race can be.
