I REMAIN deeply disturbed (as do so many other local residents) at the continuing lack of any meaningful progress over Throop Mill over some 30 years.
This iconic, and much-loved listed building becomes ever more derelict and neglected because of the continuing intransigence of its owners.
We would dearly love to see the mill become a museum/visitor centre with suitable and associated attractions which would bring in revenue towards its upkeep, as well as becoming a wonderful tourist attraction.
If it could be rented or purchased a charitable trust could be considered, which would ensure permanence.
