WHY in this day and age are we considering destroying Dorset’s historical coastline, to install wind turbines?
We have the best supply of natural self-sufficient power that any county could wish to own.
We are an island.
Natural power can be supplied by our tides.
A fuel which will never fail – tidal power.
Why cannot the powers that be not understand or accept this God-given power.
It would not be a free gift, (power companies will never allow this, obviously), but the energy is there, in perpetuity for this island to become self-sufficient, relying on no other country (and its politics) to hold us to ransom.
It will obviously cost we tax payers a bit more, but could save the country much cost and security for whatever future we may have left to us.
