NOW we are about to enter the resort’s summer season, would the Echo be kind enough to give us locals the latest on all the ongoing projects in Bournemouth that may affect, good or bad, the tourist trade and locals’ enjoyment.

I was hoping to make it a short list but it seems to get longer each day. Completion or destruction of the Surf Reef. Sales of Surf Pods. Completion of Boscombe Pier works. Start dates for Castlepoint car-park re-build. Winter Gardens site. Nautilus/Pavilion works. Westover Road shopping improvements. Bus Station? Clean-up of Boscombe/Southbourne beaches.etc.etc.

Plus in case no one’s noticed, the town’s roads and general infrastructure are in need of urgent repair. A good clean-up around the whole area would be a good start.
