ON MONDAY May 21 from nine o’clock in the morning the number of alcoholics on Poole Quay built up through the morning to 12 at least.

They were drinking continuously and then started kicking a ball about across the road and around pedestrians, being complete idiots.

They are an eyesore and embarrassment.

Visitors coming to Poole would not have been impressed with this behaviour and the language and shouting going on around them.

To finish the day off one of these men fell asleep on a bench and it wasn’t a pretty sight.

Please do something about this. Not one police officer came along the quay (walking) all day, and the ones passing in cars didn’t do anything either.

This is not a very good start to the summer season.
