AS a long-standing employee of Dorset County Council working in a DCC day centre, I am appalled at the council spending £167,000 on one IT specialist, when care posts have been frozen.

I have today undertaken work which two years ago would have been done by three members of staff. This money would have paid for at least 14 care staff.

Service users are having their service severely cut, and some are even losing their service, leaving very vulnerable people, even more vulnerable. It does beggar belief.
