WITH all the negative news about the NHS, I would like, if possible, to share my experience. On May 24, I had stents fitted in my heart at the cardiac intervention department at Royal Bournemouth Hospital. Obviously I was feeling nervous about it, but when I entered the reception area I was greeted with a smile and kind words which put me at ease.
The same was true of every single member of nursing, X-ray and doctors.
The care I received was superb and I would like to thank every member there for their kindness and professionalism. If anyone is waiting to have this procedure, don’t be nervous you will be in good hands.
Thanks again one and all.
