DO you know of a young person who has made a difference to their local community?
If so, the organisers of Bourne Brilliant would love to hear from you.
Bournemouth Integrated Youth Service has organised a glittering ceremony to be held at the Royal Bath Hotel on July 7, and they want you to nominate youngsters between the ages of 13 and 21 for the 10 awards.
Finalists last year included a girl who cares for her disabled mum, three young men who had become positive role models after turning their backs on lives of crime and one who raised money to help Indian street children. This is the third year of the event and it is sponsored by a number of local organisations.
The closing date for nominations is Friday, May 27 and more details and entry forms are available by calling 01202 456205 or here - Bourne Brilliant nomination form.doc.
